RIN chosen as EIP on AHA Reference Site

We are happy to announce that the Regional Innovation Network "Healthy Ageing" (RIN) has been chosen as a Reference Site of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA): we have been awarded the status of EIP on AHA Reference Site 2 stars.

Within the next years we will now share our experiences with European partners and learn from best practices of other Reference Sites.

First Anniversary: Regional Innovation Network "Healthy Ageing"

On Monday, 12th May 2014 at the Bonn University Club, more than 130 people gathered around Ms Svenja Schulze, North-Rhine Westphalian Minister of Innovation, Scientific Affairs and Research, to look back on the first year of operation of the Regional Innovation Network "Healthy Ageing".

Overview over Activities till Present

The first sessions of the Regional Innovation Network’s four focus groups "Health Promotion and Disease Prevention", "Housing for the Elderly", "Geriatric Medicine", and "Integration in Society" took place in mid-March and April 2014.

Expert Opinion Poll Results Report

The survey highlighted what experts consider to be the most important issues for ensuring a good quality of life for elderly people in times of demographic change. These results were used as a basis for forming work groups.

Kick-off meeting for the Regional Innovation Network Healthy Ageing in Cologne on 15th April 2013, with Minister Svenja Schulze

Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration for a stronger focus on the needs of the elderly and developing solutions for addressing them - this is the specific purpose of the Regional Innovation Network “Healthy Ageing” which was officially established on Monday, 15th April 2013, in the presence of Svenja Schulze, Minister of Innovation, Scientific Affairs and Research of North-Rhine Westphalia.
